VERONICA GARCES...

Owner of an enchanting voice, the lyrical Verónica Garcés was born in Santa Fe, Argentina. Early in her life, having discovered her love for singing, she took guitar lessons with the purpose to enrich her first folk interpretations. Since then, her life has always been attached to music. In 1983, she entered the ‘Children´s chorus of Santa Fe’conducted by María Isabel Boero de Ramella with whom she participated in international chorus festivals, such as the Novo Hamburgo ( Brazil) among others. 1985, witnessed her first performances as a soloist accompanied by Mariano Fontana, one of the worthy musicians of the `Santa Fe Guitar Quartet’. During five years, the duo performed in numerous local clubs where the traditional arts of the Argentine countryside were highly cultivated. Throughout this period of time, she started to study singing at the `Instituto Superior de Música´, under the wise teaching of `Rosemarie Helf´.
· In 1994, she joined to the `Camerata Santa Fe´, group in which she not only encountered but also took to tango above all others musical expressions. As the 2000 came to and end, she participated in the 5th World Tango Summit in Rosario - Argentine - together with a plenty of foreign and native performers. There, she shared sceneries with well-known figures of this singular art (the singer and compositor Ruben Juárez as well as the poet Horacio Ferrer, the senior official of the `Academia Nacional del Tango´) Straight after she is introduced as the New tango’s voice in the ‘Teatro Municipal 1º de Mayo’. From then onwards, her presentations have not ceased…

· 2004 ‘Peisapping’ , TV programme - Cablevideo Annual Exhibition of the plastic arts’ studio: ‘Museo Biblioteca César Fernández Navarro´.
· 2005 ‘Tiempo de Abuelos’ ( Grandparent’ s Time) , TV programme – Cablevideo First and great party of the beer’ ‘Radio Juventud’ , ( Radio ‘Youth’ ) awarded her with a plaque in recognition for the Tango’ s dissemination. ‘Second Festival of the peace´.
In 2006 , she is involved in a company called ‘La embajada del Tango’ ( The Tango’s Embassy), a group of singers and musicians that look for keeping alive this nostalgic Argentinean expression.
· 2007, Annual Seminar of Musical Comedy under the wise conduction of Pepe Cibrian Campoy, The Music of the senses lectured by Delphine Cottu, an actress of the “ Theatre Du Soleil “ and the workshop titled “Musical Interpretation” conducted by Susana Rinaldi, the unique ambassador of our Tango all over the world and the Master Juan Carlos Cuacci.
· 2008, Workshop of the Musical Comedy Drácula by Pepe Cibrián Campoy. Shows during during this year; In Santa Fe; ADE (Institution connected with entrepreneurial activities ) for the Tango´s week. In Buenos Aires; “ Confitería La Ideal”, “El Morocho del Arrabal”, “Sabor a Tango” ,"Quintino" are any of the popular places...
